Our club staple — a fast, flat route that’s pure joy in the summer. Watching a line of DDC jerseys powering up Burnhill Green in perfect formation is nothing short of inspiring.

We roll out together, break into speed groups, and attack the Pattingham loop with all we have, before riding back to the Hinksford Arms for beers and what we like to call #BNTW.

The SOC. So it doesn't technically go into compton or out of compton, but come on, this was a name too good to pass up and this is fast, fast and more fast.

First we race up to Pattingam, then Burnhill Green, Then White Ladies, then the Bishops Wood - Brewood - Codsall smash usually into a direct headwind. Its a hard man route that you feel the next morning.

A new favourite — things get a little wild through Codsall and Bishops Wood, racing into Tong before a fast blast back through Pattingham. Forms part of a trident of routes designed to test you.

The nightwash, available in two distinct flavours, to suit all tastes, a winter favourite from our mate Washa. Always best served in the dark and cold of early Spring or Autumn.
